A day is like a lifetime

When we get up in the morning take a shower we feel fresh, energetic like we can do anything. During our childhood years or growing up we feel the same, we feel like we can do anything. As the afternoon approaches we feel like we have to get things done as soon it will be time to go home. We feel lethargic, not as fresh as in the morning but we still have enough energy left to get through the day. We have a recollection of the morning freshness but don't feel it. Similar to our 20s or 30s even 40s for some, where we are feeling a bit run down with one or two minor operations, some life changing experiences, a bit worldly. We have achieved a lot and want to achieve more. As we get to the end of the day we feel tired, restless, like the only thing we need is sleep, food, home, famIily and everything is secondary. Similar to the end of our lifes when we realize a lot of people have come and gone, things have been achieved and what matters is the lord and everything comes later. Then we just focus on him with whatever energy we have left because we know this to be our true need not what we had throught of at different times previously. In a day our feelings change so much, similar to the feelings experienced in a lifetime. If we see this for what it is and make important, firm decisions which will be constant throughout our life we will have purpose regardless of time of day / stage in life. We might feel different abt these at different times but at least they will be constant goals as oppose to having different goals at different times.
