I HAVE SURRENDERED UNTO RADHA RANI’S LOTUS FEET 49 YEARS AGO BY ACCEPTING THE SANYASA ORDER -49 years of Sanyasa. At a young age of 21, HH Jayapataka Swami was awarded Sanyas by His Divine Grace A.C.BhaktiVednata Swami Prabhupada. Today at the Namhatta Bhavan disciples celebrated this historic moment. HH Jayapataka Swami is the senior most and longest standing Sanyasi in the whole of Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampradaya. In a humble mood Jayapataka Swami said, “I need your prayers that I continue following my Sanyas vows.My purpose is to help and care for you all. ” Here is the full address : 49 years ago, Srila Prabhupada gave me Sanyasa and I need your prayers that I continue following my vows of my Sanyasa. My purpose is to help and care for you all. That is, I want to follow Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s orders and serve His Divine Grace A.C.BhaktiVedanta Swami Prabhupada. By His mercy I have been picked up from a fallen condition in the Western World and I have a spiritual family and I am very happy to be a part of this Krishna Conscious family. So today is the auspicious day of Radhashtami. I have surrendered unto her lotus feet, 49 years ago by accepting the Sanyasa order.
