Under the guidance of H.G.Kamalalochan Prabhuji (ISKCON Miraroad temple President ) devotees from Miraroad temple particularly teachers running the Narsimha Institute of Children’s Education (Sunday school) took this initiative of making students of schools and colleges light the lamp. Approaching Schools Teachers of NICE institute (Narasimha’s institute for children education) approached schools in Mira Road, Borivali, Kandivali, Dahisar,Bhayender,Surat, Ahmedabad ,Rajasthan. With multiple follow ups got the permission to organize the lamp lighting in schools.
The Event Once the date and time was fixed, a team of teachers would go to school. Teachers narrated Significance of lighting lamps. In the schools some of the students were taught Damodar Astakam and they sang while offering deepdhan. Lamps were lit as a Diwali celebration in schools.
Appreciation Children and Staff of the school really enjoyed the event. They were happy that NICE teachers had taken this initiative.
