One of the most unavoidable phenomena of living entities is 'Death'. This is really significant among the imperfections of life ( Janma,Mrutyu,Jara,Byadhi,Dukha,Dosanudarsana ). Therefore, Lord Shrikrishna, in his Bhagbat Gita, says " Those who do not accept me under influence of illusion, I come to them as true as Death "
" Jatasya hi dhruba .....................................Nah sochitum Aharshi "
Thus, we are just locally situated in this body,which we are bound to vacate. This material body,in other words 'a machine' that we are riding on is definite to be destroyed. We must have to accept this without any question of escape. But we are indestructible as spirit souls. However it has a chance to go back there,where it had come from,i.e. Godhead or wander here & there without getting any body. Besides these two possibilities,there is the usual way of the spirit soul to accept another body. But this acceptance is never according to his choice but just a choice of the material nature as prescribed by Lord Krishna.
" Mayadhakyena Prakriti........., Here the prescribed guideline is that we have to accept a particular type of body out of those 84,00,000 types,as given to us by the material nature principles. But this process functions only depending upon our "work & consciousness"in the earlier body. And most specifically by the last moment of leaving this body.
" Antakale cha mam....... Jang jang bapi.................
Like this it is the sole discretion of the material nature to grant us a particular type of body just depending upon our activities in this body. This entity has acted like a dog/cat/tree/snake & so on and thereby we get that type of body in the next cycle of life. Under the active direction of material nature, that particular spirit soul is situated into the womb of a dog/cat/tree/snake & so on. And there its body is prepared with the help of the mother's blood,flesh & bone. And thus,when his new body becomes fit to survive on its own,it comes out of the mother's womb and again begins it's work. This is the secret of "birth & death".
