Greenhorns in this social swish set of the cut throat material world grow to be role models to the community to a substantial extent.And that's when seemingly theistic individuals with exhorbient expectations turn to the Lord with an endless list of demands, "I WANT THIS AND I WANT THAT"!!!They carefully dissect and diversify their desires in front of the lord though they may lack the faith or not be endowed with the innate sensibility in examining or studying their desires before they place them to the Almighty. They fail to comprehend that their biggest set back is to be blissfully unaware of what's good for them.Yet they supposedly believe that they have the panache to carry of restlessness in their desires in a manner that becomes a style statement and this casual so called "trend" is going global, thanks to the increasing number of glamorized advertisements pressing for a more flattering future.This material world is a kaleidoscope of misery and to seek unimagined happiness in a wrong place is ironically misunderstood by the general mass of people in making a spectrum of effortful adjustments with a hope of transforming it into a better place with lasting glee.Frustrated young adults turn to the Lord with innumerable desires which invariably develops into a mentally obsession and gradually imposed upon the Lord as full blown orders.Now if we look and ponder over things with a calm fore sight, we can find the answers to these desires. Is there any genuine happiness in this world? is not a rhetorical question. To have faith and love literally means to desire with devotion and still be detached to the outcome. Krsna is very liberal, regardless of the paradoxical nature of the people who pose to have devotion when they're desperate and shun the Lord when he superficially doesn't heed to their desires. Krsna fulfills what you NEED and not what you WANT.Karma is the supreme principle that rules our destinies and is an opposing factor to our reluctance of accepting the bad, and this is even so more with devotees where complexities only multiply to get us closer to Krsna.The sooner we exhaust this mountain full of karma; the clearer is our path to Godhead. Some desires further entangle us in this precarious birth and death cycle so Krsna does not fulfill them on account of his loving and redeeming nature that may bind us in shackles to this world. Like a dotting father he carefully un-plants this seemingly enthralling weed of a desire so our child like nature doesn't overshadow our safety.He sees the past and future from above and very wisely supervises our further proceedings.In some cases, we succumb to desires where we perhaps lack the initiative or novelty in a particular work, and if fulfilled may lead to a catastrophe. Krsna foresees our destinies and like a master chef analyses the ingredients to add to our life that spices it up BUT if we incorporate the unwanted, it may lead to a severe crisis of conflicting emotions and a troubled mind that's only time consuming and drains off our energy. Krsna's WISH, our karma and a secured future supremely prevails over our spot on mundane orders.So the next time we settle for a prayer, we can make certain amendments like "I have a strong desire..so and so my Lord..please kindly help me" OR " Only if it pleases you, may you fulfill it"The mood and the impeccable style of placing the words are foremost, Krsna like prayers with a submissive attitude and a tinge of helplessness which is a contrast to ordering.Have strong conviction that desires are fulfilled only by His sanction and not by usher and luck.Krsna can fulfill the most impossible desires with complete surrender, don't doubt it!
