His Grace Shyamasundara Prabhu is a
disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada since 1976.
He was given scholarships by the Bhaktivedanta Institute and
Bhaktivedanta Book Trust to study Vedic Astrology in India. He is
also a scholar of the Vedic Calendar and in Mathematical Astrology
(Ganita) in general. He has authored numerous articles on Vedic
astrology and Philosophy. The computer program he wrote for
calculating the Vedic Calendar is used in hundreds of ashrams
