Jahnudwipa
This island is not other than the forest Bhadravana in Vraj where Lord Krishna and Balaram used to play with their friends. Nowadays this Jahnudvipa is known as Jannagara.
Among 9 islands Jahnudvipa represents Vandanam – offering prayers. There are many prayers in the holy scriptures which were uttered by Devotees to Lord. Those who want to achieve spiritual perfection have to recite them with devotion and love not thinking about material benefits. Prayers of Kunti Devi, Gajendra may be examples for them. One more example is “Brahma Samhita” which does not based on any material benefits. But the main and foremost prayer for Gaudia Vashnavas will be and is Hare Krishna Maha Mantra: “Oh Lord, oh the Energy of Lord, please, let me to serve to You!” Devotee prays always, all 24 hour hours a day.
Traveling in this place one can pray for the revelation of dhama and also always to have chance to serve to Krishna.
