Crispy Almond
Cookies

Ingredients
•Cold Butter.................................½ C
•All Purpose Flour........................1 C
•Sour Cream/ Yogurt...................¼ C
•Sugar, divided............................1/3 C
•Ground Almonds........................½ C
•Ground Cinnamon...................... ½ Tsp
Preparation
1. Cut the butter in chunks & combine it with the
flour.
Rub it with your finger tips till it resembles coarse
crumbs.
2.Add the sour cream and make soft dough. Avoid over handling
the dough.
Wrap it tightly in a plastic wrap and freeze for 30
minutes.
3.Sprinkle half of the sugar on a floured surface. Roll the
dough
to 1/8th inch thickness.
4.Combine the remaining sugar, almonds and cinnamon and
sprinkle over the rolled dough.
Press them to the dough with the help of rolling pin.
5.Cut the dough into small rectangles or square of your
choice
and bake at 400 F / 200 C on greased cookie sheet for 10-15
minutes
or till golden brown. Remove on wire racks to cool.
