Cinnamon Crackle
Cookies

Ingredients
• 1 C butter, softened
• 1½ C packed brown sugar
• 2 Tbsp thick yogurt
• 1 Tsp vanilla essence
• ½ Tsp almond essence
• 2½ C all purpose flour
• 1 Tsp ground cinnamon
• ¾ Tsp baking soda
• 2 Tsp baking powder
Preparation
1. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until
light and fluffy. Beat
in the yogurt and essences.
2. Combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder;
gradually add to
the creamed mixture.
3. Shape into 1-inch balls and place 2-inch apart on baking
sheets. Bake in a
preheated oven at 350 F/180 C for 10-15 minutes or until
lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.
