Sri Sri Radha Giridhari and
Mahaprabhu in Bhajan Kutir
This is the place where
Srila Bhaktivinoda
Thakura, after retiring from government service lived off
and on from 1900-1910.
Bhaktivinoda
Thakura had stated in his will that this land should be
given to the west Bengal Government. When the Government declared
that any
Vaishnava Society
can undertake it’s responsibility,
ISKCON took its responsibility and
built a temple for the presiding deities
Sri Sri Radha
Giridhari &
Caitanya
Mahaprabhu.
