Arka – tila
This place was found by Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati. Arka – tila (“arka” means “Sun”) – high hill in the banks of Ganges. It is considered that this hill is non different than Surya kunda in Vrindavan. The place north to Radha Kund, where Srimati Radharani used to worship the Sun God.
Surya Kunda
Surya Kunda – place in the north of Radha Kunda where Srimati Radharani used to worship to Sun God.
Jatila – mother in law of Srimati Radharani always used to create new methods of attracting the attention of her daughter in law to her husband Abhimanyu. She many times asked Radharani to make different types of pujas in order to bring prosperity to the house of Abhimanyu. Once Purnamasi told to Jatila that the most worship is the worship to Sun God.
When Radharani and Jatila got ready to perform puja from somewhere appeared a “guru” at their house along with his fat disciple. Jatila requested them to become their monks at the time of worship to Surya. They told that they do not do puja by order but at this time for their fortune they themselves wanted to do Surya puja. They requested Jatila to bring all the attributes needed to the worship of Surya Kund, and she requested Radharani to go along with her. Srimati Radharani did not wanted to go but she did not have any options.
When the group reached Surya Kunda, “brahmanas” started to recite wonderful mantras which in the reality were used in the worship of Krishna. Jatila never ever heard such like mantra but Madhumangal (that fat disciple was of course he) explained that these mantras are very rare in Holy Scriptures.
When Madhumangal requested for remuneration for performing the ceremony, Jatila told to Radharani to give her gold bangle to him. But “guru” (of course Krishna) refused saying that he does not accept gold from women. Jatila insisted – because every sacrifice should be completed by giving donation to the Brahman who performed it. Madhumangal requested to bring to him laddu and Jatila was pleased with very modest request and decided to send Radharani here everyday to do Surya puja.
Because of this, Surya-kunda - a place where Krishna and Radharani can occur without fear of ill-wishers.
Bhagavata das Babaji
In Surya Kunda did his bhajans Bhagavata das Babaji who was the diksha guru of Gaurakishora das Babaji. Once while bathing at the Surya Kunda he found a stone and that was Shalagrama Sila. He pasted on that Shila jewelries of Srimati Radharani and they imprinted on the stone. This Shila is there still.
Kamyavan
This forest is in km from Arka – tila. It is non different from Kamyavan in Vrindavan and here I sthe place where all desires are fulfilled.
