When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

2003 - Dover, De - The first devotee I met in person was Arya-Siddhanta Prabhu who was serving as my Guru Maharaj, His Grace Sankarshan das Adhikari & Guru Mata's Her Grace Srimati Vishnupriya Mataji driver. I came into contact with Krishna consciousness via a literature class in my 2nd year of college. We studied an excerpt from the Gita, it intrigued me so I went to the bookstore and managed to pick up a copy of Srila Prabhupada's Bhagavad-Gita As It Is (mainly because it was the thickest & had the coolest painting on the front). Shortly thereafter I was searching on the internet for more information on the Hare Krishna's & came into contact with my Guru Maharaj via his free e-course on Krishna consciousness (www.backtohome.com). Maharaj's unparalleled love & compassion coupled with his youthful enthusiasm & genuine happiness inspired me to give up the life I was living & aspire to become a devotee.

to connect with people interested in Krishna consciousness. Sadhu sanga is soooooo important.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I like doing pretty much anything...harinam, sankirtan, cleaning, Deity worship, cooking, gardening...whatever. In the professional realm I do graphic/web design & illustrations. I've been known to donate my services to purely devotional projects if time permits & I feel confident about the direction of the project. Would also be happy to do paid work as well.
