  Makar Sankranti (Hindi: & Sanskrit: मकर संक्रान्ति, Bengali: মকর সংক্রান্তি, Kannada: ಮಕರ ಸಂಕ್ರಾಂತಿ, Assamese: মকৰ সংক্রান্তি, Malayalam: മകര സാന്‍ക്രാന്തി, Oriya: ମକର ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତି, Tamil: தைப்பொங்கல், Telugu: మకర సంక్రాంతి, Marathi: मकर संक्रान्ति). Sankranti or Sankranthi marks the transition of the Sun into Makara rashi (Capricorn) on its celestial path. Traditionally, this has been one of many harvest days in India. 
  Owing to the vast geography and diversity of culture in India, this festival is celebrated for innumerable reasons and in innumerable ways depending on the climate, agricultural environment, cultural background and location. On this day children fly kites.

  Krishna Prema. Shrimati Radharani is the Supreme

  goal described in the Vedas. She is the bestower of

  transcendental bliss. Her entire body is fully effulgent.

  She is the ultimate goal of all aspiring devotees. She

  is very dear to the Lord of the universe, Lord Krishna.

  She lives within Gokula and gives pleasure to Lord

  Krishna. She is adored by the demigods. She is attached

  to the rasa dance and She is the predominating Deity

  of the rasa dance. She performs enchanting rasa lila.

  She is the wife of the Lotus-eyed Lord Krishna. She is

  the personification of eternal truth. She gives shelter

  to the devotees. She is the universal mother. She

  awards refuge to the surrendered devotees. She is the

  ultimate shelter. She is the giver of happiness to the 

  devotees. She has a bodily colour just like a white

  campaka flower. She is decorated with garlands of

  malati flowers. She is the Supreme Goddess Who

  awards liberation instantly. She is as effulgent as
