When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

me and my friends were searching for bhagavad gita after reading from a hindu site that one can become god by the instructions of the bhagavad gita after we came in contact with it we saw how fallen and fools we were and we only had to surrender to srila prabhupadas instructions, personally am from a muslim family and this change has had a lot of impact on my family koz they have not approved of this but i feel like if i don't pursue what i want most i would live in regret for the rest of my life, i hope i get blessings and mercy form other vaishnavas so to progress in this endeavor.
