[Srila Prabhupada said:] “..the best position for preaching is sannyasa,
because he doesn’t have to send money to his family or go back to his wife
at a certain hour…”
Mr. Matthews [a Harvard graduate student of Vaisnavism] disagreed that a
spiritual master had to be a sannyasi or a renounced preacher. After about
an hour, Mr. Matthews checked his watch and became alarmed: “Oh, my
goodness. It’s late. I am having guests over, and my wife is cooking a
dinner for them. I have to go.”
“You see?” Prabhupada said. “This proves my point.”

I was asked by my friend why we dance in ISKCON. What is the reason for it? Please clear my doubt so that I can clarify my friend.

Answer: Because They Feel Spiritual Ecstasy
The devotees dance because they feel spiritual ecstasy. Those who do not feel the ecstasy cannot understand. But those who feel the ecstasy will easily understand why the devotees are so enthusiastically chanting and dancing.
