When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Fall 1969, I photographed Gaura Hari, Locan, and their wives in the Park Blocks near Portland State University. (I worked for the school paper/yearbook.) Spring 1974, I purchased a Krsna Book from a determined mataji while loading my double-parked van with large format camera gear at the North entrance of Meier and Frank department store. I was stressed, she was merciful - $10. (I was a professional photographer at a local studio) On Narasimha Caturdasi in 1975, I met Sri Sri Radha Damodar, Visnujana Swami, Tamal Krsna Goswami, and the men of the RDTSKP at the Portland, OR temple of Dina Bandhu prabhu. The kirtan was levitating, the siddhanta sublime, their lordships the essence of sweetness. I stayed.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I like to hear (mostly classes, some bhajans, etc). I also read and write, shoot video. I started the Nectar Collector Oral History Project but it continues at a slower pace since my cancer surgery. I seem to be slowing with age but am still inspired to do as I can in hope of pleasing Prabhupada.
What are your expectations from this community?
None in particular. I appreciate your assembly of so many cultural artifacts for enlivening current and future generations of Prabhupada's followers. May I serve you?
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
Writing captivating books on Krsna conscious topics to capture the hearts of four to nine year olds and prepare them to change the world rather than be changed by it when the flash of maya distracts their consciousness. Continue some Nectar Collector interviews. Continue to care for aging/passing devotees
