When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In my childhood from family members I have had the opportunity to be part of this movement and attend Ratha Yatra annually and visit the temple and attend various programmes.

I am a 23 girl from South Africa Durban, who is trying to become a servant. I am currently studying at the University of South Africa majoring in Criminology. I am an enthusiastic soul who loves to perform in Kirtan and dance, engage in service as much as possible at the temple.. I love designing and drawing the lord in which I have peace of mind and clear vision of most things in life.. I love the always be in the most wonderful association of devotees and help them as much as I can...

What are your expectations from this community?

To gain more personal spiritual knowledge To learn from others so that I can use what I have learnt in helping many devotees.. To try to communicate most importantly to my guru Maharaj who I am aspiring for so I can deleveop and close relationship with him, try and take shelter at his divine lotus feet.

Involved in child protection unit and devotee care And help the temple with festivals and decorate the temple all the devotees and plan programmes together
