When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

It’s a very interesting and long story. I feel Krishna' mercy directly and to the heart. In 2004, I was in Delhi India for study purposes and never in touch of ISKCON. At that time I used to worship Maa Durga. One day in the temple where I worshiped the deities, I was standing in front of deities of Lord Radha Krishna and start pray very humbly to give His bhakti to me also. Actually this is only me in my family who used to worship Maa Durga as other family mems were devotee of Lord Radha Krishna. After my pray onto Lotus feet of Lord, there is miracle, accidentally a taxi driver shown to me a temple, I was surprised to see all things after entering into the temple. I feel I m in another world I forgot myself. In that conscious I see Robot show with short lecture of Prabhupada, temple mansion and evening aarti of Lord. Never before this aarti, I showed this opulent service of Krishna. I was like hypnotized guy and I didn't know when and how I returned to my home. When I wake up in the morning I feel that I see a dream. Now, situation is that I didn't know the name of that temple even location so that I could visit again. I asked so many people but no one locate the address. One day I was sitting in a sad mood, one of my roommates asked me what happened. I prolonged him due to travesty but however I told him the matter. Ohh.. Krishna.., he informed me that that temple is in front of his office. On the same time around 9.30 pm, I took him on my scooter and visit the temple but unfortunately temple has closed. Next day, I was very very happy to take darshan of again and started to visit repeatedly. One day, after my few visits, I wish to live near the temple as temple was 12-15 kms far from my room. Now….again miracle…. mercy of my Lord Krishna… I got a mail from IYF – Hare Krishna, You will be glad to know that IYF Delhi is going to start IYF hostel from May 01, 2004. The Hostel will be managed by IYF and it is available only for IYF members. It is observed that the devotees, who are staying outside the temple, find it difficult to adjust their Krishna Conscious life with their surroundings. This effort is made to provide a favorable place for them. The devotees who are staying alone will find it very helpful for their spiritual as well as academic & professional advancement. If you are interested to join the hostel, please call I always feel that whatever I wish to increase my Krishna conscious, Krishna always fulfill without delay but we have to innocent in our demand. Definitely Krishna hears but we should be pure. I experienced that whenever I wish for a spiritual desire Krishna fulfill that as it is but when I wish a material desire, Krishna fulfill that also but in touching way to make spiritual life higher than material life. Krishna means nectar of happiness and extract of all knowledge… HARE KRISHNA..
