When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In he year 2000 I came in contact with Hare Krishna Movement. One I was just walking on the road on the 29th July,2000 about 10.00 am . I found a peace of paper. I went through the the peace of paper and came to know that Lord Sri Krishna is the Highest Authority among all the gods and demigods. He is Supreme. Acually I was also confused to this Hindus system of Gods and demigods. I thought that Mathura is place of birth of Krishna and must be wonderful. So , I decided to visit Mathura and Vrindavan on 17th Aug.,2000 the day of Janmashtmi. I booked the rail ticket to Mathura from Delhi in advance from Delhi. I chanted the Holyname of Sri Radha Krishna continuosly during my journey my from Delhi to Mathura. When I got association of person or devotees on reaching mathura. He acted as guide to me in visiting Krishna Janm Bhumi and Bankey Bihari. He asked me to visit ISKCON temple in the Bankey Bihari temple complex. The name looked strange to me. I agrred to see and visit ISKCON. I had a Darshan of His Devine Grace Shil Prabhupad , Sri Sri Gaur Nitai , Sri Sri Krishna Balram and Sri Sri Radha Shyam Sunder. After coming back to Delhi . I forgot the event. Next day I went to Bomay where I was advised to visit Hare Krishna temple at Zuhu. I had a darshan there also. I decided to visit the ISKCON temple at Delhi also m residence with my family. I was visiting the temple frequently and came in contact with devotees. I became life member . Particiated in the Gita marathon Dec.2000 . I was also intodued to His Holyness Gopal Krihna Swami Maharaj. I took 1st initiation in 2004 in Delhi and second initiation in 2013 in Vrindavan.

I worked as telcom Engineer in Delhi Telepone and MTNL Delhi for 36 years. I retired as Divisional Engineer Internet Delhi Group 'A' offer I offered my services without any remuneration to ISKCON Delhi Vedic Expo for technical work such as maintenance of Central AC plant, purchasing ,installation of big UPSs and their maintenance, purchasing of projectors , utilization and maintenance. I resolved some technical problems also. With the permission my Guru Maharaj , I shifted to Vrindavan. I am looking after the work of Namahatta Department Accounts for the last 2 years without any kind of remuneration.
