When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 2004 in NYC. Again in 2011 in Yreka, CA motel, Prabhupada's gita. I read the gita and prayed to meet a real bhakta. That summer I spent Janmastami at Audarya Dhama in Philo, CA.

NE Portland Hare Krishna temple with Mahabhagavata Devi Dasi and Ksetrajna Dasa. Weekly attendance for 1 year. I've spent three retreats with Swami BV Tripurari and Agnideva Dasa. Association with devotees at Hillsboro, OR temple. Week of programs with Radhanath Swami in NYC Bhakti Center, November 2013.

I chose the photo of Dattatreya because I have been very inspired by the stories of him. He is considered an incarnation of the Trimurti (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva) and the original guru. I believe firmly that all aspects of yoga and spiritual practice can help us in our path to our ultimate destiny. The practices of hatha yoga and silent meditation have healed my mind from trauma and restlessness, and with the power of Bhakti, has restored my sense of inner peace and self-knowledge to be utilized in the service of Lord Vishnu. I am fairly new to Krishna Consciousness but I have lived a lifetime of devotion to Bhagavan, praying for surrender to our Father and Source, and doing what was possible to live according to the His precepts. This was through a Christian context with deep intuitive connection that has now transcended sectarian bounds and brought me to direct yoga as a neophyte in Krishna Bhakti. My main work is through music, and I have been gifted by the Creator to understand this natural science and spiritual tool. I pray to be used by the Lord for divine service as a householder musician with deep realization and attainment, and very efficient and powerful devotional service.
