When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 1972 I met a traveling devotee selling Spiritual Sky Incense at the boutique I managed. 3 months later we married and moved into the Miami Temple. At the time when I met my first husband he confirmed my speculation about God being a person that lives on another planet and I fell in love with the one person that could understand my bizarre speculations about God. I got initiated in 1973 by Prabhupada and I am thrilled that Krishna is God and really lives on another planet!

Progressive, open minded,committed to Srila Prabhupada but always fall short of the mark He set for us.I love the non -sectarian aspect of Krishna Consciousness. I don't like to focus on devotees being superior to others. I just want to spread love of God. I love studying our philosophy and implementing it in daily life outside an ashrama environment..
