When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Back in 1994 i was introduced to the devotees however due to being exploited by a senior devotee i became disheartened. I then met my husband who has been a devotee for 15 years and now we engage in the duties of the grhastha asrama. Taking full shelter of SP's books ect.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
The nearest temple to me is Christchurch Bealey Avenue. I do not go there at present. I have been the head chef at Krsna Cafe in christchurch which holds loft programme and is managed by the Rtvik devotees. I have also stopped the association there.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
Gaurahari. I am a mother to two children. Sita-lila-devi dasi and Kaunteya Lochana das. At present i am finding out as much info on Iskcon/Rtvik. Narayana Maharaja is of no interest to me. I read only Srila Prabhupadas books and often. Confused with all the politics and want to find the true path back to the lotus feet of our Lord. AGTSP.
What are your expectations from this community?

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
My constant service to Lord Sri Krsna is bringing up 2 Krsna conscious children. My desire is to thouroughly study SP's books final instructions etc so that all the devotees of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu are no longer cheated. PAMRO AGTSP

if you are going to leave iskcon and join the rtvik group, you are making a big mistake. rtvik philosophy is a deviation. i was once in rtvik but i realized the logic that when a leader passes/leaves, his followers become the next. if srila prabhupada wanted the rtvik system to be followed he would have written it directly in his books and not in a single letter or in a single word" henceforward ". there are many letters in the final order books which says that srila prabhupada is the initiating guru even after he left the world. but the fact is not all of it is true and if you really read you will have a hard time finding out about the rtvik philosophy.srila prabhupada dint recommend this system should be taken up in his books and society and with the reference from sadhu guru and sastra. and if seen in this way of rtvik system we are all disciples of krishna because all the aharya's represent their guru and our first acharya lord brahma represent his guru lord krishna so brahma is a rtvik and his disciples are the disciples of krishna!!!------THIS IS NONSENSICAL AND RIDICULOUS.....please send your reply to me on this comment to my email address bhaktisindhu21@yahoo.com
