When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In the year 2000 somebody came to my house and told me about ISCOn and was impressed and immediately paid Rs 14000/- to become a life member.

I follow Bhagawanwan Ramana Maharshi's path. i dedicated my life for handicapped welfare and as such started Lebenshilfe Center for the mentally handicapped in 1980 after my studies at USA 1975-76) and intensive in-service training in the field of mental retardation at Lebenshilfe ,Germany(1978-79) My motto is to serve the mentally handicapped hailing from poorer sections. With a commitment I have been serving presently 415 mentally handicapped of all ages with different kinds. One hundred and eight dedicated stass are supporting me to run this great humanitarian activity. No fee is being collected from them. I am working hard to improve the Quality of life of these people. I wish to drive them into the society as individual members with economic stability.
