When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
I lost my father when i was 10, from then all problems started financially, personally, mentally. Why so much misery? Why me? I became an atheist. When i was in my final year of graduation, i suffered severe problems which i couldn't say, i was crying and sat on a footpath. Then i listened hare krishna mantra from a sri krishna chaitantya matam near by, i went there. Saw Lord Krishna. A monk distributing prasad saw me. He came to me and enquired, i told him about my loss in the past and my problems in present. He gave me an example of problem with attachments. I understood.. Then he showed me few verses from Bhagavadgita as it is regarding soul. And he counselled me regarding my problems. Then he said me to develop faith, and i was like how can a person develop faith all of a sudden? Then he said "just chant 2 rounds per day and feel the difference". He said "develop love for God and not on people and things". I started chanting from then. Its been 6months now.i slowly started reading Bhagavadgita n started developing faith. My way of perceiving things have changed. My problems are still there, but, now i feel i have a support*Lord Krishna*. I start my day remembering him and end my day as same. Iam a Doctor by profession. I pray every day to Lord Krishna about my patients. I visit temple when i ever i get time and the monk who changed my life gives me a grin and says "Hare Krishna"....

Am a doctor by profession.. I pray every day. I meditate upon mahamantra everyday. Helping and healing people every day as Lord is making me to do it. Sarve jana sukhino bavanthu is my motto.
