When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 1992 by a Newcastle Hare Krishna Devotee in Newcastle high street shopping area.

I have always wanted to do 'the right thing in life'. I have explored and had different experiences. I am now convinced Krishna Consciuosness is where I have the peace of mind that I have been hankering for; and I am becoming more absorbed every day. Its amazing. I am a Personal Trainer. My background is nursing, homeopathic medicine and beauty. I enjoy meditaiting and am finding my that my Krishna Consciousness journey is the most wonderful journey I have ever experienced. Miracles do happen in life - if you just dare to believe in a supreme power....

What are your expectations from this community?

To make new friends who are on the same path as myself i.e. attempting to go back to Godhead.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to get involved actively in campaigns re: animal cruelty and also to spread Krishna Consciousness to those who are physically disabled e.g. blind/deaf. This particularly touches my heart.
