When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

One of the Isckon devotee offered me to buy Bhagwad Geeta in Jan 2017 in a temple. I started to read and understand wisdom behind Bhagwad Geeta on regular basis and so far have completed 7 chapters of it. I realized what I was missing since all these years. I quit alcohol, Non-Veg and started enjoying taking Lords name instead of attending parties in short material enjoyment. Started to enjoy the fragrance of Temple and started feeling Krsna around me everywhere. I felt the power of peace within me, this wouldnt have been possible without mercy of Prabhuji AC Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada ji and the Supreme personality of God himself. Hare Krishna..

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I have visited Isckon temples only two times so far, one at Abids Hyderabad Telanagana and the other one is in Banjara Hills.

I was an atheist, used to ask too many questions about rituals and ceremonies. I used to make fun of Gods and all spiritual philosophies.. But now after following Bhagwad Gita, I realized how foolish I was. Now I am a true believer of Lord Krsna and always think of HIM. Realized importance of my surname "Goswami" and doing my best in fulfilling its purpose

What are your expectations from this community?

I get few questions while reading Bhagwad Geeta, which I would like to get it clarified via this community. I work in night shifts hence, I do not get opportunity to visit temple and get the questions clarified hence I belive this website is best platform where my questions will be answered and what if these questions might help others as well.

Spreading awareness about Krsna Counciousness,
