When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Around 1997 I came into deep friendship with Mr. Sahib (his last name slips my mind) an officer in the Royal Malay Police. He gave me a hard copy of The Bhagavad-Gita & I instantly came to love reading the whole book because my soul probably craved for Lord Krsna's Own Words.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

The one nearest me, in Paco, Manila is no longer there. I have since struggled to ask for the Lord's mercy to teach me His wonders & perform what sacrifices my guru has taught me - which is very little because we sadly parted ways as I have to head back home.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am a professional drummer/musician and an educator who lives at home with my mother. I am a cheerful and energetic person who loves Lord Krsna and longs for His teachings through His causeless mercy. Unfortunately I am unemployed at the moment most probably due to karma because I may have disappointed the Lord so many times.

What are your expectations from this community?

Just to be able to read about the Lord & maybe learn with some guidance. I consider myself a fledgling devotee since I have no proper guidance from a true devotee over the years.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I have only my humble hands & my skills to offer at the moment, if that is acceptable.
