When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

1999 I received a copy of the Bhagavad Gita As it is. I was studying Swami Vivikenanda and it was recommended that i read Gita. After my intial association with Swami Prabhupad "Hare Krishna" I have been devotee. I have visited the Vancouver Temple three or four times and taken part in Sunday feast each time. Kirtan/Prasadam/association. The town in which i live has no other devotees so i sustain my spiritual practice alone. I have been chanting for 10 years but the frequency has fluctuated from 16 rounds to 0 rounds per day and every place in between. I am currently chanting 16 rounds a day and am committed to continue.

My spiritual life has been described above. I am currently employed as a recruiting manager for a Large call center. I have held this position for three years and before that i held other managerial positions within the call center. I have a very good experience at work and I am able to share the process of spiritual life with everyone there through love and association. I am a single father of three children 27, 22, and 17. With my youngest child reaching the age of adulthood I am preparing to spend the next part of my life in full spiritual practice and anticipate great experiences ahead. I have a long held wish to visit India and make a pilgrimage to all the holy places. I have a dear friend living in Bangalore who has visited my home here in Canada and I want to do the same with him. I play the bass guitar for the past 27 years and currently I am a member of a musical group here in Prince George. I look forward to moving to Vancouver in July or August and forming a music group that is strictly directed toward Spiritual music. I have only a select group of friends and most of them are spiritual in one way or another ( not KC ) but very nice and kindhearted individuals. I pray that one day I will find living Guru.
