      Pranam Dearest Devotee. Hare Krishna.
May you be blessed with full surrender at the Lotus
Feet of the All-pervading Personality of Godhead,
Lord Krishna, Who is the Absolute Truth and the
Primeval cause of all the causes of the creation,
sustenance and destruction of the manifested
universes. Simply by chanting His Holy Name one
is purified from the six enemies, lust, anger, greed,
pride, illusion and envy. If these six enemies take
control of the mind, a person becomes sinful. To
desire those things that are necessary for minimal
daily existence is not lust, but to aspire for more
than your daily requirement is called lust. Following
this, lust puts one into various difficulties. If one`s
desires are not fulfilled, anger results. From anger
comes quarrelling, harsh words, fighting, murder,
and all sorts of sinful actions. Greed overtakes one
by degrees, until one commits sinful activity to fulfil
it. Pride is the tendency to think of oneself as great.
One attains gentle behaviour when one begins to
think of oneself as very insignificant. If one thinks of
oneself as a servant of Lord Krishna, pride will not
possess one. Illusion (delusion and infatuation)
indicates ignorance and is always bad. Not to accept
another person`s elevated position is called envy.
When one is overcome by any one of these six
enemies, one is afflicted with citta-vibhrama (mental
illusion). Citta-vibhrama then gives birth to atheism.
With love and best wishes, take care bye.
