When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

There is an ISKCON centre in shimoga, i have been visiting the centre since 6 years and i am devotee of lord krishna and have a desire to gain complete krishna consciousness.I came to know about the centre through my sister, she has attended summer camps conducted by iskcon devotees every year.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

ISKCON centre , near jail circle, Shimoga. Devotees : Dr.Aparna mathaji, Govindh Prabhu, Nanda maharaj prabhu, Gopika mathaji.

I am priyanka finished my Engineering and waiting for joining in a company. I used to visit iskcon centre evry sundays and do prayers and keerthans, from last 6 months i was completely free as i finished my degree. One sunday in iskcon mathaji told me about a iskcon temple inaugrating in pune ie NVCC, so she took us there ,it was a blessed trip for me,during travel mathaji took clases and spoke about krishna for several hours,it was awesome and we were completely influenced by her teachings, we read so many books and visited temple,it was a great trip. Now i am reading "The Journey Home" from Sri Radhanath swamiji.Its a wonderful book.I wish to read many books of krishna and autobiographys of many saints which influence minds of youth.

What are your expectations from this community?

To know more about krishna consciousness and make my life complete with his grace.I wish this community provide us more knowledge about life, why we have come here,how to make our life meaningfull, whats the aim of life should be etc etc...hope this community will help beginners like us and guide us in a right direction and include krishna pragnya in our life.
