Daily number of rounds of Hare Krishna mahamantra.

I am a devotee of Lord Rama and Krishna,and do their 'Smarana' multiple times daily, but the mahamantra is something I need to get used to chanting.

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I was brought up in Bangalore, and my father is a Life Patron there.I have frequently visited the Hare Krishna Hill there and have always admired the selfless work of the volunteers there, their dedication for God and the Cause for which the organization itself was established.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Hare Krishna Hill, Bangalore. Since we relocated from Bangalore, I fail to recollect any now.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I believe that my life's purpose is served if I make a positive difference in others life, who are not entitled to all the luxuries/resources of life that they ought to possess.I believe that ISKCON is the genuine platform for me to address my conscience's urge. Also, I am a believer in the cyclic process of Karma & Prarabdha and also of Moksha, all of which are echoed in the teachings of SrilaPrabhupada.

What are your expectations from this community?

I just want to be helpful to as many people as I can and serve God in the purest way possible, without seeking any monetery benefits. I trust that this is what ISKCON is all about and hence want to render my services in any way possible.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I believe in serving God through Humanity, hence the Akshaya Patra scheme falls in that clan. I would like to be a full time member of this scheme and contribute my part in this noble endeavour of feeding the children.
