When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Visits to ISKCON temples in my teenage days and Holi San Kirtan by Iskcon women members (Pala) every year at my residence during Holi. In 2006, I had the privilege of touching the holy feet of HH Bhaktiswarupa Sripada Damodara Swami Maharaj (Dr T.D. Singh)whom I adore in my heart.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am the most fallen among the devotees (actually I feel I am not fit to be called a devotee' ) and I am a sinner of circumstances and mostly absorbed in the material world and the senses. However, my recent visit to ISKCON Delhi Centre (Sant nagar, East of Kailash with my father and seeing the Vedic shows and attending the Darshan Arti and the recital of "Govindam Adi Purusham" have done something magical on my mind and my orientation to Krishna consciousness has suddenly changed towards the Merciful Govinda, to whose Lotus feet I yearn to fall with your spiritual guidance.

What are your expectations from this community?

I want to elevate my consciousness level of the Almighty Krishna within my heart and when I die I want to remember the Hari Nam Maha Mantra...so that in my next birth I may be blessed by Krishna to be a strong devotee and my soul be kept at his lotus Feet without any distractions.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I want to offer my services in the publication team of the ISKCON in Manipuri and English language with the little knowledge and experience I possess. I would love to host Home kirtans at my residence at Imphal an auspicious day every year. I had edited magazines during my M.Sc days in Manipur University. I would like to take part in any devotional service to the Lord as advised by the devotees.
