When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 1970 I received Bhagavad Gita As It Is as a gift from my father. I was 13 and attended school. I moved into the temple in 1985 and served as Pujari, Life Membership coordinator, Harinam Sankirtan and book distribution in NYC. Travel around NYC in the Harinam Truck temple on wheels from Aindra Prabhu, who was the first person to encourage me to engage in Harinama and have not stopped since.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

The Radha Govinda Temple in Brooklyn NY. I know Ramabhadra Prabhu, Mother Satya, Kavichandra Swami, Romapada Swami, Anubhava Prabhu, Lakshmi Narasinha Prabhu. Practically every devotee that goes to visit Radha Govinda since I lived there many years.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am a householder devotee with a wife and a son who is starting college. I received first and second initiation from H.H. Romapada Swami (first disciple). I love engaging in Harinam Sankirtan and am currently assisting Rama Raya Prabhu in Union Square Harinama. I work as a Graphic Designer for print and web and do photography. I'm active on Facebook and have reconnected with many devotees I had not seen in many years. I have visited India and the Holy Dham 3 times, the last time was Janmastami 2012 with my family.

What are your expectations from this community?

To keep devotional related information available to help propagate and expand the mission of Srila Prabhupada and help propagate the Yuga Dharma Harinam Sankirtan. Also, to know how other devotees in other countries are doing and living for Krishna.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to use my photography/videography experience to put together a series of instructional videos on many devotional subjects like: the Holy Dham in detail explaining every site on parikrama so devotees can know. see and experience Vrindavan and Mayapur also in their homes and learn and teach their children. Also, videos that show how to properly perform Arotik, and different sevas, services, cooking for Krishna, tilak, dhoti, etc. Educational videos on philosophy and ethics, Harinama and properly chanting the Holy Name. Paly mrdanga, karatalas and Harmonium. The list goes on.
