When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In 2009-2010, I was introduced to Bhagavad Gita by Arci Edwards who ran 'Kindred Spirits' in Winston-Salem, a shop that I often visited. She gave me a copy of Bhagavad Gita and I began attending classes and love feasts at her home. She moved and I had been trying to find a group for years, when I found in 2017 the Hillsborough temple, New Goloka.

I am a pianist/singer/songwriter from Greensboro. I have played music all my life. I am a music teacher, performer, songwriter, massage therapist, and personal trainer. Although I have known about Krishna Consciousness for many years, I have more recently become a more serious devotee. I dedicated my life to Krishna on September 24, 2017.

What are your expectations from this community?

To receive guidance from videos, book links, and lectures to keep me engaged in study and service to Krishna.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to compose music for Krishna. I am currently working on some tracks now, but am looking for poems to put to music. If you have a poem you'd like me to work on writing music to, please share.
