When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I was introduced to the hare krishnas in 2001. I walked into a ratha yatra festival in washington square park. i went to all the tables, was given books and had wonderful food. At that time my search fo god was very strong and everything they explained to me made sense. I was able to ask a guru questions and the people my age were great to hang with. it was nice to see that you could have fun as a young adult without smoking drinking and wild parties

I'm very into low living high thinking. I'm a very simple person. I love being around nature and all it beauty. I want to be the best i can be for krishna. I'm tired of living for myself and want to live for lord krishna. i love learning how to cook foods the please lord krishna. anything else you want to know feel free to ask
