When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

In June 2006,I still remeber those glories days. I was introduced to ISKCON through JAIGOVINDRAM PRABHU. Also I have TO mention AKINCHANA KRISNADAS PRABHU(vellore-ISKCON MANAGER),he guide me a lot in understanding ISKCON'S PHILOSOPHY,a Great devotee as well.All our vellore people used to come to ISKCON mainly for his simple and effective lecture.

I was born in arani a small town in T.V.malai DT, I'm B.TECH-IT GRADUATE, CURRENTLY WORKING AS A SYSTEM/NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR IN CHENNAI(INDIA). I spent 5 yrs in following advaita,Though i'm not a staunch follower of advaita i still beleived it.It was only after reading srila prabhupada's books i came to know the essence of vaishnava philosophy(Achintya-Bheda-Abheda-tattvam).

What are your expectations from this community?

A guidance and advice from senior vaishnavas, so that i can curb my Kama, krodha, lobha, moha, mada and matsarya. while becoming a vaishnavadasa. I hope this community will help me in my progress towards uncontaminated bhakthi. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
