When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

During high school in 1984 my class visited the New Orleans ISKCON temple, New Sankirtan Puri, for a cultural exchange program and I was instantly hooked. I spent that summer at New Raman Reti (Alachua) with a host family and spent every summer after (until I graduated high school) at Krishna House (Gainesville). In 1990 I surrendered to His Holiness Bhakti-tirtha Swami and was initiated in 1993 (1st.) and 1998 (2nd.).

Kind, friendly, gentle natured, good-humoured, down to earth and practical. I love serving Their Lordships, my Vaisnava family and community.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I have served Their Lordships and cooked in various temples around the world. I presently serve as cook and community outreach coordinator for Food for Life at my local temple.
