I am glad to know that Lord Krishna has bestowed upon you with so many qualifications due to your past karma. You can enhance these qualifications with sincere reading of Srilla Prabhupada's book at least one page per day.

I just began this recitation of the Holy name

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Reading the Bhagavad Gita As it is by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

Haven't been just learned minutes ago at ISKCON that there is one downtown Brooklyn.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am learning to let go and return home to the Godhead. This has been a long journey. I have had to sacrifice so much but I am not disappointed in the least bit. I feel as though I am exactly where I am supposed to be. But I am not done. Now comes the interaction and being in the company of fellow devotees. I gave birth to three children. And I am what is called a single mother. Times are often very hard but I am thankful for it. It pushes me to Lord Krsna like nothing else. I am here to learn and grow. I was born in Brooklyn New York. I am not familiar with etiquette in dealing with Krsna Consciousness outside the obvious, So please be patient. I am here to learn and be in good company. Peace and Light to all. Hare Krsna!

What are your expectations from this community?

Building connections. Being in the presence of people who want to serve and not get. I want to learn. I want to go back to Godhead

I am a graphic artist, I am a poet, I am writer. I am really good with my hands.
