When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

First time over a decade ago, I met a devotee, he gave me a book, but I never really read it. Last year I became very depressed and - after trying many types of meditation and reading about many religions - started chanting the mahamantra with a japa. I also bought the Bhagavat Gita and started reading. Since then wonders are an everyday occurrence.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I have not yet visited a temple yet. The nearest must be in Den Haag I think.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

A recovering addict, living life from day by day and enjoying every moment. My life has been enriched since I came in contact with Krishna. I am single, looking for friends and I would love to learn more about living life as a pure devotee.

What are your expectations from this community?

To learn, laugh, read and perhaps even make friends. Broaden my knowledge.

My daily experience of life as I know it and anything else I am able to offer when asked.
