When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
In Thapar University, my college, where I am currently a first year student of Mechatronics Engineering. I was introduced by two acharyas, namely Akrura K Das and Ramkrishna P ji. Srila Prabhupada study circle is active in my college from the past year.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
Chandigarh centre, though i've not visited in over 3 years...
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I am a spiritual person, and am currently practicing brahmacharya. I like Indian classical music, and love playing sitar. I chant 2 rounds of mahamantra everyday, with my usual pooja of Lord Swaminarayan.
What are your expectations from this community?
I think it will be increasing influence of iskcon in my life, maybe increasing my Krishna Conciousness...
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I would like to post on Fb about Krishna, and would like to contribute online. Also I would like to engage my sitar playing into ISKCON activities. I hope so that my sitar may act as an instrument to indulge more and more people into harinam...
