When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

By 1979 I was going to many L.A. Ratha-yatras for years and several of my friends from high school joined so they invited me to a nice prasada dinner program. I had recieved a free copy of TQK from some bramacaris at a book table at the beach. I liked it very much. I also could absorb a few things from Bhagavad-Gita somehow, so I eventually I joined.

Los Angeles temple. i know and try to serve devotees here.

I am a housewife/mother/pujrai/part time book distributor/writer. I love Vrndavana and Maypura. I love nature so I go out when I can to the beach or hiking. I am reading Srila Prabhupada's books, usually daily.

What are your expectations from this community?

I have no idea. I don't want to act as a convenient contact for everyone in my community. That's usually what happens. I only want KC association.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I want to make a book of short fiction stories that would help people to understand very basic Bhagavad-Gita philosophy that Prabhupada has so kindly given us.
