When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

All of my life I have rejected religion, I have never been one to be spiritual or religious by any means. For the first time in my life, I was open to religion and hungry to discover for myself. Coincidentally a good friend of mine, unknowingly introduced krishna consciousness to my life. HARE KRISHNA!!! After expressing our concerns with a wide array of current issues my friend left us with two books; Bhagavad Gita and the Science of Self Realization. I cannot thank him enough for helping us open our eyes and our hearts to krishna.

None, and still very new to iskcon I've yet to meet any devotees.

Recently a new father of 9 Month old Paisley Jade Cork, I enjoy cooking, working outdoors, philosophy, all music and I'm a huge animal lover. I'm currently trying to start up my first business (Out"N"About Painting LLC) as well as being a college student at TCC. In the future my goal is to become self-sufficient, I want to be a good father, husband and teacher to my children. (Hopefully 5-7 children) I'm very excited to achieve true happiness through krishna and I hope that I can be used as a tool to further spread his name as well as become a man of quality for my family and friend's. I look forward to meeting others and hope to meet some devotees soon!

I am confused about my duty and have lost all composure because of miserly weakness. In this condition I am asking you to tell me for certain what is best for me. Now I am Your disciple and a soul surrendered unto you. Please instruct me. I offer my material body and this life for a chance of liberation. I offer all that I have and am capable of in service to krishna and his devotees.
