When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

2002, the evening after my first death, I got a copy of some H.K. book from a devotee, then later on I was given a copy of the Bhagavad Gita as it is, which I found fascinating.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I'm not entirely sure how ISKCON found out about me, but lately so many strange things have been happening I'm not suprised in the least. I recieved an email from Ramyadevidasi asking me to join.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I practice special meditations daily, and do breathwork everyday too. I also lift weights and practice fighting (but not for violence, more like dancing). I write tractates on my observations in existence, and practice quite a few western esoteric traditions, but I lack a deep appreciation of love most of the time. I've been mostly celibate for the past 10 months, more for health reasons (concentration and purification of will and chemical body) than anything else (or so I understand at this time). I do believe though that physical love when not treating each other as objects but as Sovereign Subjects is one of the Highest Precious Interactions of any Life Ever (Holy Union). I like music, and am working on my singing voice. I like dancing and getting into trances. I've stopped most of my drugging and drinking, but like sacred sacrements under the proper circumstances (i write sing lots of poetry then). I'll admit, I'm not the purist of people, but even with some of my goatish ways my intentions are usually clear as a laser beam. I don't always consider weakness of the flesh as major concerns if my mind, and more importantly, my creative centre can overcode it and transmute it. I don't have much of a social life or a work life right now, I mostly meditate and blog. I'm about to get vocational training soon, and have found out about natural sources of lithium in water and minerals so as to stabilize my mood swings.

What are your expectations from this community?

I'm game and very curious as to what's going to come out of this. The whole universe seems to be aware of me now so I'm gonna roll with this, in good spirits. :)
