When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I'd recently turned vegetarian and developed an interest in Eastern culture and spirituality - then, when I was out in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, shooting street photography... I spotted a group of devotees for the first time, chanting Hare Krishna! I started to take photographs, as I was surprised and instantly intrigued by the group. Then, a devotee named Prema approached me and invited me to the temple - I've been visiting ever since!

I am very open-minded, and interested in other cultures, religions, and parts of the world! I like photography, music, and journalism - I have dreams of travelling in the east, and I hope to work with charities there after I have finished college.

What are your expectations from this community?

Friendship, and people to speak to from home about Krishna Consciousness! - And also, any problems I might encounter... :)

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to give every devotee Prasadam, and talk to them about their culture and experiences while we eat! :p
