When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
One of my friend who is a ISKCON devotee (Sangita Matataji) inspired me towards Hare Krishna Movement..
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
Vapi (Koparli) / Sanatani Vishakha Mataji /Dauji Kripa Prabhuji / Ramani Sakhi Mataji /
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I was not much religious still worshiped Demigods passionately like Shive Ganesha etc. for years. Due to material desire and being in passion mode, i made many mistakes in life. Though I gained material pleasure in life ( A happy family, money, status etc) which should suffice a normal human being to be happy. I due to my past mistakes I went through tremendeuos dipression and mental truama almost felt near death experience..and during that period all my money and materialastic pleasures made no sense to me..All I longed for peace...and then by the grace of the supreme lord (Jagganathji) I came to know about Krishna Conciousness.. I surrendere myself to Krishna and he sofly hold me and showed me the right path..Though I am new to ISKCON, I am longing to know, understand and realize more and more about it....
What are your expectations from this community?
To make me able to understand the Bhagavat Gita Preachings through Krishna Conciousness..How to be free from sufferings for once and all and to feel the eternal power, mercy and love of the Supreme Lord
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
Though I have strong desire to be of any service to Lord Krishna and his Devotees, I am comparatively a very new comer in this society, so I am not able to decide on my own how can be I of any service, (Still I have donated for two life memberships recently and also started to donate Nitya Seva to Vapi ISKCON temple
