When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Through Kanaka Das of Iskcon Chennai in 2006.

Hare Krishna! I am an ardent devotee of Bhagawan Shree Krishna. My Guru for this incarnation is Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath who is of the same lineage as Mahavatar Babji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Yukteshwar and Yogananda. I have been practicing Meditation and pranayam for almost 10 years now. I believe that God is one and he is not restricted to any religion, country, nationality. Krishna is as accessible to a Muslim as he is to a Hindu. Accepting all religions and faiths and following one Lord and Guru faithfully is the secret to success on the spiritual path in my opinion. I believe very firmly in Self-Effort. In fact I subscribe to the popular English saying, "God helps those who help themselves". We need to take the First Step. I believe attainment of Moksha is not hard. Rather, it is pretty simple. As Lord Krishna says in the Bhagawad Geeta that Just by doing good material and spiritual duties without attachment one can attain the highest. Also, those who apply His teachings of the Geeta without fault finding also reach Him. Moreover he also says in the Garb Gita that one who does seva of the Guru gets freedom from all the 84,00,000 births and reaches Him. We just need to keep the faith, do Sadhana, Seva and Satsang with Bhakti and execute our responsibilities to the best of our ability with Faith and Devotion and He will Liberate all we sincere souls. His love for us is unconditional and His path is the simplest and most universal! I wish all my Bhaiyas and Didis all the best for success in their spiritual efforts. God bless us! Hare Krishna!
