When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I"m not quite sure what to put here but I lived in the Columbus temple and Towaco NJ temple for a while, and traveled all around the surrounding areas. I am from Houston and have spent a substanital amount of time in Dallas. I am a work in progress in every respect, but guru and Krishna are kind. I work full time, go to school part time for Green Business, manage the garden and make the vases at the temple, am working on a sustainability project for ISKCON, and in my copious amounts of free time I work on some art projects, see live music and ride my bike.

What are your expectations from this community?

to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, share realizations and stay connected...anyway I can!

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I have been working on a sustainability initiative for North American ISKCON. I have never really felt connected in my service until I began working towards and on this. Self sufficiency is no longer limited to farm communities!
