When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

My wife, Rosie Mataji took to ISKCON Portland for the first time September of 2014. I danced in my first kirtan and ate my first prasadam - which were both wonderful. I left with the scent of flowers and bliss in my heart.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I am new to Krishna Consciousness but I am eager to learn how to serve and live in a way that praises the lord, Sri Krishna. I am especially excited to learn how to cook Prasadam because cooking is one of my passions. It is nice to find a spiritual path that integrates one of my passions in service. Kirtan is always a blast! My wife and I are excited to learn the kirtan instruments and join the kirtan with great pomp!

What are your expectations from this community?

To interact with like-minded people through social media to satisfy my need for screen time and progress in my spiritual life. Learn about Krishna's pastimes and Vedic culture - to live a Krishna conscious life style and wash away my material desires.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

Help with chopping for Prasadam until I get initiated and am given the opportunity to cook for the devotees. To learn all of the traditional instruments for Kirtan.
