Praying at the lotus feet of Guru and Gouranga to bestow their causeless mercy upon you for a happy and blessed Krishna Conscious Birthday.
Please chant more and read Srilla Prabhupada's book daily at least one page or one paragraph daily without fail. This will totally enchant your mind endlessly and really bring you closer to the Sweet Lord Krishna undoubtedly.

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

Two years back, i went to the ISKCON temple here at bhubaneswar, orissa and since then I have been going and getting involved in all its functions.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

I finished my Doctorate and for me and my well wishers this was the ultimate in education. I got a good job in teaching which paid very well and I became quite well known as a teacher and trainer.After seven years in this field it suddenly struck to me one day that i was not happy inspite of the money and fame I had.I was living my life on other's terms( my family, my workplace, my neighbourhood).When i discussed it with some friends they shared the same thought but they had no solution. Prior to this stage of my life, I never prayed to God in the conventional sense but I always had Him as my best friend.Lord Krishna invited me to the nearest Iskcon temple and I was mesmerised by His beauty.I felt myself embraced by the open arms of Lord Jagannath. I knew that my problem had been solved.I surrendered myself to the Lord. Now I am His servant. I have never been more happier and satisfied in my life as I am now. Jai Jagannath!! Hare Krishna!!

What are your expectations from this community?

i expect this movement to educate, inspire and motivate as many people as possible to seek Lord Krishna's blessings and make their life more meaningful and fulfilling.

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I would like to inspire others especially youngsters to join the movement through discussions and classes but before that there is so much for me to learn.
