When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
I came in contact with KC during my fourth year of undergrad. My friend and I were having a discussion on Bhagavad Gita. He told me about the lectures that happen outside IIT Bombay. Since then I started attending the weekly program. Currently, I am in Minneapolis doing my PhD.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
I have most frequently visited Chowpatty temple in Mumbai and IIT BACE. My mentor is Avatarlila Prabhu. I know many devotees in BACE.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I am sincere and kind hearted. I like going to holy places and temples. I love hearing Krishna's and devotees pastimes.
What are your expectations from this community?
I have read the discussion and nice answers to the questions posted to the devotees. I wanted to get motivated and inspired to progress in my spiritual life.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
